Hi I'm Mindy Marsh

I am an Arizona girl. I am a missionary on Temple Square and a sports FANATIC!

About Me

I am proud to say I grew up in Mesa, Arizona. I am a sports fanatic! I spent all of high school playing sports. I played volleyball and also ran track. I lived for sports in high school but then knew that I would have to move on at some point and pursue an education. I went to BYU Provo for 2 years and was studying to be a nurse. While at BYU I knew there was something else in store for me and something else that I needed to do, which was to serve a mission. I was so excited and so anxious to receive my call. I was called to serve in Salt Lake City, Utah at Temple Square. I am currently there right now and love every minute of it. I have learned and grown so much and am so so grateful for the opportunity I have to serve. I also had the opportunity to serve in the Iowa Des Moines Mission for 3 months! I have the best mission in the world and was able to serve in 2 places! I also have a deep love for music! I love playing the piano and singing.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church but have come to gain my own testimony. Growing up in a very Mormon populated area I wanted to truly know for myself, but for me even as a younger girl, the gospel made sense. It made perfect sense to me that if the gospel and priesthood was taken off the earth, that it would need to be restored again. It made sense to me that family relationships should continue after this life. It made sense that if we as humans make mistakes that there would be a way to improve and become better. Because of this, I know that Joseph Smith was called of God and that he restored the gospel in its fullness back to the earth. I know he saw God the Father and Jesus Christ. I know that families are forever and that through the sacred power of temples we can be with our families for eternity. I know that the Atonement of Jesus Christ is real. I know that it is a powerful gift that He has given us to become clean and to improve our lives. I know that He lives and I know that Jesus is the Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being the best example I can be. For me, a mission was the way I wanted to serve my Savior Jesus Christ and serve those around me. It has been the most rewarding and best blessing to serve. I also served as the Relief Society President in my ward at BYU. It was a great learning experience for me as I tried to help the girls in my ward feel welcome and comfortable every week at church, and to make them feel loved and that they have a reason to be there. I am trying to live the gospel just like every one else trying my best to be an example so I am living what I am teaching and people can see that I live what I truly believe.
