Hi I'm Madi

I'm a Japan, Tokyo sister missionary, I love rock-climbing and music, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a missionary in Tokyo, Japan and I love it! The Japanese people have a special place in my heart. I'm a student, currently unaware of where my studies will take me. I love the outdoors, especially when rock-climbing or mountain biking. I enjoy drawing and playing the guitar. I have an amazing family that I love to laugh with! I want to travel the world someday to experience new cultures and eat exotic foods. I love change: change in the weather, change in location, change in my major...variety is the spice of life! Life's great!

Why I am a Mormon

It just makes sense. The knowledge that I have of my Heavenly Father and my purpose in life just makes sense. The doctrine taught in the Book of Mormon and the Bible together with revelation from latter-day prophets helps me understand everyday life challenges. I don't know everything about the gospel, but I do know the happiness it brings me and the feelings I have of God's love for me. This feeling of the Holy Ghost is a reminder of where I came from and the knowledge of pure truth I had before I was born.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others, I try hard to help others see the joy the gospel brings in my life and aim to be an example as much as I am able. I am now serving as a full-time missionary for the church, devoting 18 months of my life to hard work and teaching my beliefs to others. I try to be a good example in all that I do and am friendly and accepting to all I come in contact with. Every day I have questions and do my best to study and pray for answers. I think that having questions is good, and we should always be seeking more knowledge and clarity. Through seeking answers and receiving revelation I develop stronger faith and trust in my Heavenly Father.
