Hi I'm Angela

I'm a survivor. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Wyoming. I have two cats. I have overcome drug and alcohol use and survived an abusive marriage. I have struggled to find my path but the LDS church has helped me find peace. I like to read, play games and puzzles and go for hikes and discover new places. I am learning how to shoot.

Why I am a Mormon

I have walked down a dark path prior to becoming a member and even after I was baptized. It is only recently that I have become an active member. I needed help and was looking for a sign as to what I should do. One night after crying myself to sleep I said a prayer for the first time in years and asked for help. The very next day, missionaries were visiting a family next to my house and parked right in front of my building. I knew this was a sign. The church has helped me seek forgiveness of others and mostly of myself. "My soul hath been redeemed from the gall of bitterness and bonds of iniquity. I was in the darkest abyss; but now I behold the marvelous light of God. My soul was racked with eternal torment; but I am snatched, and my soul is pained no more" (Mosiah 27:29)

How I live my faith

I am a co-chair for the Potluck committee and enjoy organizing different themes each month. I also participate in out ward Outreach program.
