Hi I'm Justin

I am a student in Electrical Engineering. I love math. I love football. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am in currently in college and am so excited to be able to go out into the world and solve problems through electrical engineering. I love to learn about the world and how it works. I was married in December of 2012 and love my wife sincerely. I love college football. It is such a good time to watch the struggle, strategy, and situations of each game. Sports is one of my favorite things to do with my friends. We now live in a very good neighborhood with wonderful neighbors old and young. I have traveled to Morocco twice and have lived in Armenia for two years. Different cultures and people amaze me. I grew up with 2 brothers and a sister in a military type lifestyle. We didn't move a lot for the military but my Dad did have a lot of responsibilities he was gone for. Those were hard times but brought us closer as a family. I love my and my wife's family and am so looking forward to have children someday to add to our family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. For a lot of my life I relied on the faith of my parents, leaders, and friends. During high school I wanted to truly know if the church to which I belonged was true because up to this point in my life I never questioned that fact. I did some soul searching and reflection. I read the Book of Mormon for understanding and for knowledge to see if it was true. After really searching for a week or so I kneeled alone in some trees and prayed aloud, asking God if He was real and if the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was His church. After my prayer an overwhelming feeling of joy and happiness came over me. From my head to my toes I knew with a surety that He lives and that this is His church. Ever since then I have been striving to learn more of Him and His Son and grow closer to them through searching and service. Through my labors I have come to love them, and I want to do what He would have me do.

How I live my faith

I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. One of the things I love most is the commandment to love and serve our neighbor. In the Church, my wife and I have the opportunity to teach the junior and senior high school youth in Sunday School. It is such a joy to be with the youth. I also have the opportunity to visit a couple of families in our Church. I get to know them and serve them in any way I can. My belief in the Savior urges me to make my school and community better by volunteering and serving where I can. It also builds the desire to love and get to know all of our neighbors.
