Hi I'm Joslyn Borup

I'm a big sister, a loving wife, an interior design student, and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am the eldest of six kids, and come from a very large extended family. I love family more than anything else in the world and am excited to have children of my own someday. This is my fourth year of college, I attended Utah State University for two years, met my husband, married and moved back to Salt Lake where he had an opportunity for a career. I am now at LDS Business College continuing my pursuit of Interior Design.

Why I am a Mormon

I am born of goodly parents. Both of my parents are LDS and growing up we were in a small ward with not many kids. Myself and my siblings were like the ward's children, not just my parents. My mom was called to be a relief society president when I was just nine and from that I learned how much the Lord loved and blessed our family. I prayed to know whether this church was true during my teen years and continued to study in early adulthood. When I left for college my testimony strengthened and I discovered that my parents had taught me wonderful standards that I continue to live by, not for them, but because I've learned of the power within them for myself.

How I live my faith

I attend church each week where I am the Activity Day Leader. I love to work with the kids! They are so insightful and make me smile. During the week my husband and I pray and read scriptures together and recently we've been re-reading all of his mission letters. We hope to return to the place of his mission this summer so I can meet some of these people and see the place I've heard so much about.
