Hi I'm Geof.

I grew up in Washington and I now live in Virginia.

About Me

I love the outdoors. I grew up skiing and back packing in the pacific northwest and although Virginia has wimpy mountains I enjoy spending time in the blue ridge mountains and going to the historical sites. I have a fantastic wife and 3 kids that keep us busy. We spend a lot of time running our kids around to school, music, and soccer stuff. Whenever we can travel we do.

Why I am a Mormon

I guess I'm a Mormon, I think of myself as more of a human. I love going to church because through serving and being served by people at church I feel great. I have made wonderful friends and been able to serve others locally and in a foreign country. More than anything I attend church because it helps me to feel closer to my Savior Jesus Christ. I have the example of wonderful people who I feel are disciples of Christ to guide me. I am grateful for the gospel message which has been taught through this church.

How I live my faith

I think that anything I do which is good in life is a result of trying to follow my Savior. I have been able to work with the youth in our area through scouts and young men/women programs. I have enjoyed learning from their example. The youth are hysterical and have a simple faith which I need to rediscover from time to time. I am grateful for the opportunities that this church gives me to serve others. Every time I serve I always feel that my life is better. I focus on my problems less and feel closer to Jesus Christ.
