Hi I'm Paige Winslow

I'm a huge nerd. I'm an optimist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love movies. Especially action movies, the kind that have really good plots not just things exploding. I listen to 80's music and I am constantly dancing around the house to it, mainly when I clean. I have an older sister and three younger brothers so I know how to rough house and curl my hair. I love my family and I would do anything for any of them.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised Mormon, yet I still feel as though I was converted. When I was 12 years old I had the opportunity to be in something called The Day of Celebration, which celebrated 175 years since the start of the church. The spirit that I felt on the night we performed brought tears to my eyes, and I remember thinking that there was no way that this church was not true. That night all doubt was erased from my mind and I have firmly believed in this gospel ever since. From there my knowledge has grown about the doctrine of this church. I have solidified the foundation of my beliefs and the more I learn and grow and question, the more that my personal testimony of Christ and his gospel is strengthened. I have built my faith through diligent study of the scriptures and fervent prayer.

How I live my faith

In my branch I am a branch missionary and I am also in charge of organizing service projects for the branch. I love being able to find things in the community that need help and working with people in order to get them the help they need. I also love teaching in the Gospel Principles class. I feel as though I learn as much as the people I teach in that class. On my mission I have learned a lot about relying on the Savior. Through fervent prayer I have felt His love for me and I have seen the change that His atonement made in my life. Through my service I have seen many miracles happen. Seeing the change that I can help people make in their lives, helping them come to know there is a chance for them to live with their families again, has changed me. I have strengthened my testimony of this gospel because of what I've been able to learn by serving others. Serving others has always brightened my life and brought me close to Christ. I love to be able to help people and seeing how it changes their lives, even if it is in small ways.
