Hi I'm Mark

I am a father of four, a Chartered Accountant in England and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Father of 4 grown up children ( 2 girls and 2 boys) - and husband to a lovely wife. I was born in and currently live in Reading, England. By profession I am a Chartered Accountant and have worked in a variety of industries s and with many different people. I studied History and Politics at Warwick University before serving a full time mission for the church (in Manchester, England) and then did my professional studies and exams. I love music, reading (fiction and non-fiction) sport (mainly watching now!), current affairs, travel, walking and swimming. And of course spending time with my wife and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I love my faith and my church. It is a great blessing and gives purpose and opportunities in my life. It has been a source of strength to me and my family and is like an 'anchor to the soul'.

How I live my faith

I have had many callings in the church that have given me wonderful experiences of serving, leadership and getting to develop good friendships with many different people and age groups and backgrounds. I strive to uphold and live the principles of the gospel in my professional work, community and all relationships. These include loyalty, honesty, integrity and treating all people with respect and kindness. I have been County Treasurer for the Berkshire Scouts, which was a very rewarding opportunity to interact with others in that organisation.
