Hi I'm Ashley Beus

I've grown up in Utah and am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

About Me

I graduated High School in 2010 and have been attending Utah Valley University. I recently decided to serve a mission and leave April 10 2013 to serve in the Philippines Manila mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I know this church is true and I believe that it is the most fulfilling and rewarding way to live. The gospel brings me peace, purpose and hope that can be provided in no other way. I have been raised as a mormon by my parents but over the years have gained my own personal testimony of the church and it's specific role in my life. I love it and can't imagine being without it.

How I live my faith

Trying as hard as I can to be a mormon at heart is very important to me. I live my faith to my best ability in all my callings and through living the commandments. I have felt the Lord's hand guiding and lifting me up countless times in my life and I know that He loves us unconditionally and perfectly.

Why is it important for us to take care of our bodies? Why are our bodies called temples of God in the Bible?

Ashley Beus
The spirit of the Lord cannot dwell in unholy temples. Our bodies are called temples and consist of our body and soul (or our heart and mind). In order for us to have the spirit to reside with us we need to keep our bodies as clean (free from harmful substances) and as well-taken care of as possible. Show more Show less
