Hi I'm Paul

I grew up in the San Fernando Valley. My hobbies are classic cars, and off-road motorcycling, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married to my best freind for 34 years. We have one son, three daughters, and one grandson. I was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, a suburb of Los Angeles. I spent half of my adult life as a general contractor, and the other half as a moldmaker, building highley precision molds for injection plastics. I raced motocross as a youth, and I continue to enjoy off-road motorcycling in my later middle-age. I enjoy restoring classic cars, when time and money permits.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was born and raised a Mormon, that doesn't mean that I am not a convert. I have been converted to the gospel of Jesus Christ, through many years of studying and searching for the truth. Joseph Smith is a true Prophet of the restoration of the Church of Jesus Christ. I know that God the Father and his son Jesus Christ live, because Joseph Smith saw them. I know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon from ancient golden plates. Through the gospel of Jesus Christ, I have a clear understanding of where I came from, before my mortal existance. I have a clear understanding of my purpose here on earth. I know that through the atonement of Jesus Christ, I will be able to return to My Heavenly Father. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me. And because he loves me, he has given me the Bible, and the Book of Mormon. He has provided a Prophet to lead us through these difficult times that we live in. Through the Holy Ghost, I know that the Chuch of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true.

How I live my faith

One of the greatest blessings that my faith provides for me is the opportunity to serve others. I have spent many years working with the youth, serving as a Boy Scout Leader. I have worked to organize community service projects. I have had many opportunities to work with the less-fortunate. These opportunities along with many others, I would probably not paticipate in, if not for my faith. My faith teaches me, and gives me the oppotunities to be service to others, and be a little less selfish.
