Hi I'm Eva Amiolemeh

I'm from Nigeria. I moved to the United States to start college. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Eva Amiolemeh, I am from Nigeria. I was born on the 16th of June, I am the last of five children, one boy and four girls. My parents are in Nigeria and they are retired. I love my family so much because they make me feel loved. I love to dance, write, draw, braid hair and work on computer. I came to the United States December 18 2008. I started school winter 2009, my major is Social Work. I cherish education. I was born into the church; I have a testimony about the restoration of the gospel and Jesus Christ. I love to do what’s right, obey the Lord’s commandment and make wise decisions. I love to study hard by faith in Jesus Christ. I have great dreams to help people in my future.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because my parents join the church. I was a member my whole life, but doesn't mean I was a saint my whole life. I am a Mormon because I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ. My testimony as grown by understanding that we are all imperfect beings and we all need the saviors atonement in ourselves. I am a Mormon because I Have grown to know the doctrines and covenants of the gospel Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon because I am still growing to understand and learn about the gospel of Jesus Christ. I may not understand all that's the savior would have me know , but i know that being a true Mormon would lead me to the right part in life, I want to learn grow and understand the purpose of my life and those around me. I am a Mormon because I want to look past people's imperfections and love them for who they are. I am a Mormon because Being a Mormon to me, means being a member of the Lords church on earth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to do the basic and simple things. For example reading the scriptures, praying, going to church every Sunday, accepting and magnifying church callings. A big part of how I live my faith is by serving people. I love to serve people. I try to serve people I know and those I dont know. Service helps me love people and helps me minimize judging them.
