Hi I'm Jason

I'm from England and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, I'm Jason. I'm 22 And from Yorkshire, England. I come from a family of 6 and grew up in a small village in the middle of nowhere, which was great. Nothing like being surrounded lots of open fields and woods. I love to ride my bicycle and see the scenery, also a enjoy playing paintball. I love metal music and going to watch music played live. I can kind of be a bit strange and random sometimes, but it's cool nothing like a bit of weirdness to make things interesting.

Why I am a Mormon

To put it simply I'm Mormon because it's true! Ok slightly longer version. When I was around 14/15 I wasn't too sure on religion and God. I went to Church because my parents did and it was what was expected of me but I wouldn't really care about it or follow the teachings when I was alone or with my friends. That was until I went to a youth camp with the church. Hearing the testimonies and the experiences of the other youth really touched me and I felt something I hadn't recognized before. I wanted what they had and I felt a change inside of me. Since then I turned back to God and never regretted it. I've been much happier in life than what I ever would have been otherwise, I've grown because of it I've learned more about life and the world than I ever could have imagined. I've always felt a a sense of direction and even when things have been hard and I've wanted to turn away I've had the support of a loving Heavenly Father to get me through and get me back on the path.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in all that I do. From trying to be a good person, Being a good friend to others and trying to help those around me. I'm not perfect but my religion helps inspire me to try harder each day. I try to be open about my beliefs and love to talk about religion when the opportunity arises. I'm actively involved in my church and go multiple times a week for various activities and meetings. Most recently I serve by fulfilling my calling as a missionary. This is a full time commitment for two years involving devoting all my time to helping those around me and sharing the gospel with anyone who wants to know more. I love it and in the time I've been doing this I have learned and grown more than I ever could of imagined.
