Hi I'm Noel Castro

I grew up in Honduras, I love gymnastics, I love to make friends, I love to learn new languages and I am a Mormon

About Me

I love sports, such as football, gymnastics and swimming. I love to watch adventure and comics films and I love make lots of friends. I love practising my Portuguese, Spanish and Chinese... I like to be positive and enthusiastic and to learn new things everyday.

Why I am a Mormon

I wasn't always a Mormon, I used to be a Christian-Catholic. When I met two young missionaries I wanted to understand my purpose in life and why bad things happen. I also wanted to know more about the Bible and comprehend more about the life of Jesus Christ and follow him in every possible way. When I met the two missionaries they told me that Jesus Christ came to the Americas. I couldn't believe it at first, but knowing that I live in Central america, I thought that might be possible. As they told me more, I felt a warm and peaceful feeling telling me that was true, that indeed he did visit. When they told me that I could find this out for myself by reading this strange book that I had never heard of before called The Book of Mormon I made the experiment and read it. When I read it I felt again the same peaceful and overwhelming feeling. I soon found that I liked this feeling and I wanted to feel this feeling for the rest of my life so I decided to join the church.

How I live my faith

I like to put into practice the word of charity with everyone around me as now I'm serving a full-time volunteer mission for two years in England. I say that everyone in this world has something to give and receive but when we give we receive more. It could be the smallest thing in the world such as given a smile, a hug, a kiss,a letter, a thank you, but the greatest of all is telling people that GOD is a kind and loving Heavenly Father. Don't wait just share it that's my saying.
