Hi I'm Lynne Hawkins Glassford

I'm married to my best friend, mother of 5 amazing children, the proud grandma of 6 wonderful grandkids & I'm a Mormon

About Me

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints all my life. My testimony continues to grow through all the seasons of my life. I have 4 daughters and 1 son. Two of my children are currently serving LDS missions. One is Oregon, one it Peru. I love spending time with my grandchildren! I enjoy being with my husband, gardening, working, talking... I just love being with him. My family is my life and the knowledge that we are connected together forever gives me so much comfort! I love working with children, I manage an elementary school cafeteria and also volunteer at the junior high science dept.

Why I am a Mormon

I am trying to live my life so that I can continue to help my family one day return to our Father in heaven and be together forever. I know that this is the only way to true happiness in our lives, and for eternity. Each of us has the ability and agency to be good, choose the right, be honest and kind. Please do your best to live as Jesus would want us to. I promise that as you do you will be fullfilling your purpose in this life. We are preparing to live with our Heavenly Father again. I believe that Heavenly Father loves us and wants to help us, we need to pray and ask Him, believe in Him, have faith in Him, and be good. I know that this Church is Gods church on the earth today. I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior. I know that the Book of Mormon is truly another testament of him and I am enjoying learning from it daily.

How I live my faith

I love visiting teaching. I love how it keeps me connected to sisters in my neighborhood. I know that if I need anything, they will help me, and I try to help others too. I am learning genealogy but have a long way to go!
