Hi I'm Derrick Kueser

I am serving a two year mission in the Dominican Republic and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I come from a family of 13 children. There are 7 girls and 6 boys. I love playing football, basketball, and baseball. I also love to run. I grew up in Kansas where I loved being in the outdoors. I moved to Utah when I was 16 where I lived with my sister and brother-in-law. Since moving to Utah I have fell in love with it here. I love the mountains and camping in the Canyons. I am now serving my mission in the Santiago, Dominican Republic mission. I left on June 6, 2013.

Why I am a Mormon

I was lucky enough to be grown up in the church with parents who were always a good example to me and taught me the way that I should act and live. Growing up with a big family has been the biggest blessing to me. One experience that has really helped increase my testimony was when I was younger I had a little sister pass away after only living for 3 days. Since that time I have always felt the comfort of her in my life. It is a blessing to know that she is waiting for all of us to return and live with her again.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be the best example and friend that I can. I have always tried to reach out to people and listen to things that are going on in their lives and try to make them feel that happiness that comes from the spirit and living the way that the Lord would want us to.
