Hi I'm Tyler

I am from Michigan, but grew up in Arizona and Connecticut. I love playing lacrosse, and most other sports. I'm a mormon

About Me

I went to high school in Michigan. There I played lacrosse for 4 years and football for 1. During high school I suffered 3 seizures and underwent 4 shoulder surgeries. since then I have attended Utah Valley University for 1 year and am just getting ready to leave on my mission. I will be serving in the Utah Salt Lake City South mission starting march 27th.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church and it helped guide me through my adolescence. Once I had moved away from home and became self reliant things became difficult. I didn't realize how much I depended on my parents to help me with my testimony. I had a very difficult time adjusting and started questioning things about this church. I reached a point where I decided that I needed to find out what was true for myself. From that point on I prayed and read the book of mormon every day, multiple times a day. My goal was to develop a relationship with my father in heaven, and that is exactly what happened. My time away from home suddenly became much more joyful and there was no denying the feelings I felt when reading my book of mormon and praying. Because of this time I spent working to get to know my heavenly father I now know that he is there, constantly watching and listening, and that this is the true gospel on the earth today.

How I live my faith

In the past few years I have served in the Deacon, Teacher, and Priest presidency. I also served as a stake youth representative and helped come up with ideas for various youth activities. Now in my home ward I serve as a ward missionary and help out the elders when needed.
