Hi I'm Jenny

I love to take pictures and read. I served my mission in Sweden! I love that place! I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I love to live in the moment and photograph them too! I'm currently working on a degree in Chemistry Education and basically living the late night early morning college scene. I love being around friends and especially family! Without them life would be so difficult!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I prayed and found out it was true. Through the trials in my life I have tried to find solace in being angry, listening to crazy music and took sometime to try out not praying as well. These things never helped, they only cloaked what I was feeling. As things in my life progressively got worse a scripture came to mind from the Book of Mormon about prayer. I decided to give it another try. That day I crawled into my closet and closed the door. My heart cried out in prayer to God for understanding and comfort. Since that day I cannot forget the peace that God sent into my heart. I am a Mormon because I tried other things that do not amount to anything in comparison with the feelings I felt that day in my closet as I began to create a relationship with God again.

How I live my faith

I love living my faith. I try to let it reflect in everything I do. Right now I share my faith by participating and organizing Family Nome Evening lessons for my "family" up here at school. We play games together most often and like to share what we have learned recently from the scriptures to help each other grow in our faith.

In whom should we have faith?

We should have faith in our Heavenly Father and His only begotten Son Jesus Christ. Our faith in them gives us the ability to rely on them in difficult times in our lives and will lead us to become more like them as we follow their examples. Show more Show less
