Hi I'm Tony

I am a father, grandfather of 18, I am a retired accountant, I love the outdoors, I am a mormon.

About Me

As a father and grandfather, I love being around family. Their happiness is the most important thing for me. My ties to my siblings, parents, children and grandchildren have always been very strong. I grew up in the logging and lumber business and have always loved hard work and the benefits thereof. I like to participate in sports. I have always been appreciative of the wisdom of my elders. Money and career is not as important to me as having a strong, happy family and being known as an honest person. I love the spiritual guidance that our Heavenly Father gives us. I love to learn and discover new things. I am now retired and have some time to enjoy other things that I like to do - traveling. family history, woodworking.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Mormon Church. My parents always attended church and though they were not perfect in every way, they were always an example to me of honesty, hard work, respect and trying to do the things which our Father in Heaven wants us to do. They kept the Sabbath, paid tithing and other obligations, helped the poor and others who were in need. They were true friends and people liked and respected them. I had the privilege of having very good friends and teachers whom I could talk with about religion, who would answer the growing-up questions that I had. My testimony kept getting stronger as the spirit touched my heart and as I put into practice, the things that the Lord has asked us to do. I have and will trust in the Lord completely as to present decisions and my future. I love Joseph Smith as a prophet and all our present day prophets and leaders, They are inspiring leaders and great examples to me.

How I live my faith

I serve in callings and assignments in our church and temple and in teaching and helping others. Along with studying the scriptures, this gives me a peace and understanding as to my goals in life and my purpose in life. I love the peace and comfort that our Heavenly Father gives us as we try to do His will. I love serving others and our Heavenly Father. The rewards are always much more than what I give. I like to help with community projects and see a community spirit come together.
