Hi I'm Jeffrey

I am a father in training. I own three businesses. I love lawn sprinklers and time spent with my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the second oldest of 7 children. I have two sisters and four brothers. I consider them my best friends. I am an Eagle Scout, and I currently serving a full-time mission in Brazil. I have a love for lawn sprinklers, video editing, HVAC systems, and computers. I find it fascinating to discover how things work. I enjoy doing home repairs, and I love trying to find the most efficient way to accomplish tasks. I have fun playing the piano and working in the yard. I operate a lawn mowing business with my brothers and sister, operate a sprinkler repair business, and provide computer help to people. I find joy in serving my neighbors and spending quality time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is Christ's true church. I know that we are spirit children of a loving Heavenly Father. We came to this earth to find joy, receive a body, and be able to choose for ourselves right and wrong, good and bad. If we choose the right and take the steps necessary, we can return and live with our Heavenly Father again. The main goal of Heavenly Father's plan is for us to have joy and live together as families with our Heavenly Father for all eternity. Because of this knowledge and the joy I find in living the gospel, I am a Mormon. The way I came to know that these things are true is by studying the Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ and then asking my Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, with real intent believing that God would answer my prayer, if the things contained in the book were true. I have done that many times throughout my life and every time, I have received a witness by the Holy Ghost that those things are indeed true. Because the Book of Mormon is true, I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God and that the apostolic keys have been restored to the earth. They have been handed down from Joseph Smith to our current living prophet today. I testify that we do have a living prophet. I can testify that these things are true. My life is filled with much more joy because of the truths found in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How I live my faith

I have the wonderful opportunity to live my faith each and every day. It starts first thing in the morning as I begin the day with a prayer to my Heavenly Father. It is truly a wonderful blessing to be able to talk with your Heavenly Father anytime, anywhere, for anything. Prayer is something I do during the day as well as before I go to bed. It gives me the opportunity to express gratitude to God for all the blessings he has given me and a time for me to ask his help with the difficulties I am experiencing that day. I then choose to study the scriptures. I love the Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ. It has been one of the greatest sources of strength and direction in my life. The family is the central unit of society and central to God's eternal plan for his children. I spend as much time as possible with my family. We play, work, serve, and many more things each day together. As I spend time with may family, I am more able to develop Christlike attributes and prepare myself better to be a father for my future family. I find true joy in the service of others. We have many elderly neighbors who live near us. Me and my siblings roll in 10-12 garbage cans each week and during the winter months, we remove snow from 8 driveways as a service to those who can't do it themselves. We work in their yards and, and get to visit with them often. My life has been enriched by the many people who surround me. I have volunteered at a historical park near my home for 15 years. Visitors from all over the world come to see it, and I have the opportunity to associate and share the history with them. I am a home teacher and have the great opportunity to serve, love, and support members who belong to my faith. I attend church every Sunday. I work with members of my local church unit to organize church events, help with any kind of audio visual need, contribute my musical abilities, and help facilitate gospel learning. I can live my faith each and every day.
