Hi I'm Russell

I've grown up in Logan Utah and am going to be serving a mission in Mexico, Mexico City East Mission. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Hi my name is Russell! I Love playing basketball. I played all throughout high school and I hope to get the opportunity to play in college when I get home from my mission. I will be serving in the Mexico, Mexico City East mission. I currently am working two jobs. I work full time at Chick-fil-A and love it there. On the side I also coach my old high school's Freshman basketball team.

Why I am a Mormon

I have chosen to be a Mormon because of that awesome feeling you get when you feel the holy ghost testify to you what you are doing good, or what your hearing is true. That feeling is something I didn't have for a lot of my high school years. I was struggling with the church, i kept pushing on the boundaries that the church sets for us to keep us safe until finally i had broken them. Then a friend came into my life, one of those friends who makes you want to be better person. She helped me with a lot of my struggles and was always positive and believing in me. I also had a lot of friends who started leaving on missions and it reminded me why the church is so great. Those friends were always so happy and bubbly. I put on a good face but I wasn't sincerely happy. My friends and family were a great strength to me. I am so grateful for the influence they have had on my life. I am now a much happier person. I am grateful for the holy ghost, and i know that it will and can guide our lives in the direction we should go as long as we accept him into our life. I know the atonement is real. Christ suffered in the garden and on the cross so we one day can return to him and our heavenly father and live with them for the rest of our time. I am so grateful for this gospel and the happiness it brings to our lives.

How I live my faith

Right now I am attending the Young Single Adult ward in my area. My calling is to be a ward missionary to help me prepare for my mission.
