Hi I'm Daniel

I'm Canadian, I'm a musician, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love music. I taught myself guitar when I was 16 and since then my love for music has really taken off. I began writing and composing my own songs at 17. Someday I hope to be a performing artist and share my music with the world. I think the reason I began to write music is because it is a way I can express myself beyond words. I have struggled a lot with depression, and as I write, sometimes I discover how I am feeling, either by the words or the music itself. Music, to me, forms a connection with ourselves, each other, and with heaven.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church, and for me, faith comes quite easily. But for me the biggest thing that holds me to this church is prayer. I love the teachings of the church that tell us that we can receive answers to prayers. I've experienced the quiet and peaceful voice of the Holy Ghost in my most difficult times, and in moments where I've needed guidance. This reassurance that God lives and the peace it brings is my biggest comfort.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a full-time mission for the church in the England London South Mission. I've been out for over a year and am loving it! Being on a mission gives me a chance to focus on the gospel in a way I couldn't experience in any other way. It also gives me a chance to see the world from an outside perspective and appreciate what's really important in life.
