Hi I'm Rajae

Utah bred. Life consists of family, friends, and music. Lather, rinse, repeat. I'm just loving livin'! I am a Mormon.

About Me

Movement. One of God's greatest blessings to me. Being active is a way of life. I love to exercise and dance. Music is my life. It is personal to me and means something entirely different to me than it does to you. That's what I love about it. If you are in the car with me, there will be music on and I will be belting it out. Loved ones are important. My family and friends take priority. I won't usually turn down time with them. It's always time well spent. Creativity is another of the best blessings God has given us. Be creative, explore the world, and learn. In most cases I get over things quickly, I believe in having a positive attitude even when the world tries to break you down. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. (Philippians 4:13) I embarrass myself quite often and enjoy laughing about it later. I love to be wild and crazy and love talking to people. I make friends not enemies. Traveling and I get along very well and I have big plans with the world in my future.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an LDS family, but don't think for a second that's why I'm a Mormon. There comes a point in your life where you can't keep relying on your parents. My parents have incredible testimonies of the gospel and for that I will be forever grateful. However, I came to a point in my life, as we all do, where I needed to know for myself what what right and what was not. I tested the waters. I stopped going to church regularly with my parents and did my own thing. At first I didn't notice a difference. I was still the same person and life still moved on. Gradually though, and so gradually that I didn't notice at the time, things turned on me. I wasn't happy anymore, and the negativity of the world began to influence me. I felt hopeless. I wasn't even sure there was a way to be happy like I was as a kid. I figured it must have been part of growing up, that it was normal. God was still with me though. Family and friends supported me and helped me to see the light. They may not even know they did, but their examples and love for me, helped me to realize what I needed to do in my life to change. I began to pray on a more regular basis, read the scriptures, and attend church again. As I did, I was able to learn for myself that God loved me, that He knew me, and that He could help me to be happy. I made changes that allowed me to stay in the light and found happiness in the healing power of the Saviors Atonement.

How I live my faith

By small and simple things are great things brought to pass. (Alma 37:6) It starts with your desire to serve God. If you love God, then you will prove it to him by living the commandments that He has given us. In doing all that He has asked of us, you will be blessed. I study and ponder the words that God has given us through prophets, meaning my scriptures and the words of the latter day prophets as well. I pray to my Heavenly Father every day and listen for the Holy Ghost to teach and inspire. I do my best to keep the commandments that God has given me. I use the Saviors Atonement to conquer my short comings and I try again. I speak openly to others about how the restored gospel has blessed my life. I want all to feel the happiness, peace, and undeniable love that I have felt because of the restored gospel. I am currently serving a mission in Pennsylvania and will continue to share the gospel with others even after.
