Hi I'm Chadwell

I'm so totally Mormon.

About Me

I'm preparing for a mission, I enjoy: going to the gym, learning, helping others. I love: people, eating healthy foods [whole wheat, veggies, fruits, etc.], music [classical, romantic, baroque, medieval, hymns, opera, and so forth in like manner].

Why I am a Mormon

After high school my mother moved us from South Jersey to North Jersey. Then, I was a Pentecostal Christian. There were three months until it was time to ship out [U.S. Navy]. Seeking a strong relationship with God; I started early in the morning: praying, fasting, and studying the Holy Bible. The majority of my day consisted of: prayer, fasting, and scripture study [for 3-4 weeks]. My heart began to change. The scriptures told me “It is required to gather with the brethren on the Sabbath”, I felt a deep desire to do this. A month after relocating, I walked to a local park, and asked Heavenly Father [specifically] to lead me to the church that He wants me to be a part of. I then asked, “Should I go to the church across the street?” I felt the answer to be, “no”. Turning to the right, I asked, “should I go this way?” A voice came into my mind, saying, “yes.” A delicate feeling came with it. In this manner did I find the church; first, asking with trust to receive, then, following as directed. When the right church building appeared, I asked Heavenly Father, “should I go there?” The voice said, “yes”. That feeling came into my heart again. It felt so good, but, so slight and small. Joyfully, I crossed the street, and climbed the stairs. Standing in front of the doors and written above me, was, “The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.” looking through the glass, I beheld two missionaries. They answered all my questions. Before leaving, we made an appointment to have them over, to teach me the gospel. Consecutive meetings brought additional truth. At the end of the missionary lessons, I asked God if it was all true. The most powerful feeling came over me, and a voice saying "yes".

How I live my faith

I obey the prophets and all the commandments.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Chadwell
Heavenly father said in scripture that "I am the same yesterday, today, and forever" and that in him there is not even the shadow of a change. Additionally, the scriptures detail that God has always guided his church by a prophet. I feel sure that my Father will still use a prophet, like Moses, to lead his church today. Show more Show less
