Hi I'm Nikki

I'm a wife and a mother to four little boys. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and a mother to four little boys. I enjoy being in the kitchen making different things for my family. I went to college and earned a degree in education and taught 2nd and 3rd grade for almost 5 years before my first baby was born. I love that I can be home with my children and be a part of their lives.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a testimony that Joseph Smith is a true prophet who restored the gospel of Jesus Christ to the earth once again. I know that the our Savior Jesus Christ leads and guides his church today through living prophets. I have a testimony of the Book of Mormon. I was raised in the church by good parents and a wonderful family. However, there was a period of time in my life that I was not making the choices that I knew I should. During that time, I experienced a lot of pain, sadness, and feeling so alone. I did not attend church for some time and during that time I missed the peace I had felt in the past when I was making better choices. I am thankful for the testimony that I had and the desire I felt continually to get back to where I needed to be. I am also thankful for loving family and church leaders who supported me as I worked to change and find myself once again. I am a Mormon because the gospel has brought nothing but hope, light, and love to my life.

How I live my faith

I am active in church and currently serve as the ward primary chorister. I enjoy the challenge of working in primary and teaching the gospel to the children through music. I am also a visiting teacher and love the opportunity that visiting teaching gives me to reach out to our sisters, especially those who do not join us at church or those who are in need in one way or another. I love that service is such a big part of this church because I know that service does so much to bless everyone no matter if you are on the giving or receiving end.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

We believe that Joseph Smith was chosen to restore the gospel of Jesus Christ to the earth. We believe him to be a prophet. We love and respect him and look to him as a prophet in our day. We do not worship him. We worship our Heavenly Father and his son, our Savior Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
