Hi I'm Randi

I grew up in the small town of Cardston, Alberta. I am not so different than you. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town where I didn't really fit in too well. I was homeschooled for nearly half of my school years and gained confidence from learning in an environment of love and acceptance at home. In later years I grew to disregard the fact that I didn't fit in completely and learned it was best just to be me and find those who felt as I once did so I could boost them up and help them along their journey. Music inspires me! My life without music would be like a world without feeling. If there is one thing that can touch my soul so deep, it is music. My growing up years were significantly happy despite my trials throughout. Then one winter I went through something that changed my life. My mood started rapidly decreasing and I started pushing away those I loved from annoyance and from feeling very suffocated by other people's presence. Work at that time was not going well and I was often in a very irritable mood. I found I was struggling with depression. I lost people I cared about in different ways and inevitably created bad situations whether through my feelings or my actions. It was a hard time in my life. However, through it all I kept the Lord in my mind and tried to follow Him. When the depression lifted so that I could see more clearly I learned a lot about love and friendship and about life and the Lord. I know that you are never as alone as you may feel.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the gospel and have found for myself the doctrines and principles that are taught to be true through personal prayer and through living by the same doctrines and principles. I know that the Lord answers my prayers because I have had my prayers answered, and not just once, but continually throughout my life. I know that God lives and that He loves all of His children and I have felt His love for me on many occasions. I love what I believe.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through my everyday life. This gospel is not just about going to church on Sunday, it is about how you live your life. And though I am far from perfect I try to live by the Lord's standards every day of my life. In church I help teach the little children of the Savior and His love for all of us on the earth. I visit teach two wonderful women and am blessed to know them. I try to make the Lord happy with all that I do.
