Hi I'm Ivie

I've lived my entire life in Idaho. I love the church and I intend to do some great things in my life time.

About Me

I am a girl who loves adventure. There is nothing I love more then camping, horseback riding, hiking, spelunking and occasionally skydiving. Although I'm not particularly great at any of these activities I've found that you don't have to be good at something to like it. I have attended some college and currently have plans to go on a mission. I find great joy in good food and great company. I hope to become a police officer someday and so little by little I'm preparing myself mentally and physically. I believe that being a member of the church has given me the right moral character I need to achieve my goals.

Why I am a Mormon

Everyday that I feel like my life is lacking a little bit of direction I remember that God has a plan for me. If I live right and keep his commandments I know that my life has purpose and I can continue moving forward knowing that one day I will be back in the presence of God. I believe in latter-day prophets and that God speaks to us today through them as in times of old. I know that my savior loves me and understands all my pain and has suffered for my sins so that I can live again. I move forward everyday hoping that I can follow the example of Christ and live with my family again through the eternities.

How I live my faith

Every Sunday is special to me. Being a member of the church and attending church meetings allows me to be spiritually prepared throughout the rest of the week. Through the church I've increased my planning skills and learned about some of the needs in the community. I was in charge of setting up monthly activities to help in the community or with personal growth. Some of those activities included painting numbers on the greenbelt, a self defense class, gardening, and making quilts for those in need. I've learned the importance of relying on God in everything I do and trusting that he will hear my prayers and answer them how I need them to be answered even when it isn't how I expect.
