Hi I'm Logan

I grew up outside of the church. I was baptized February 9th, 2013. I'm a Mormon. :)

About Me

I am 23 years old and I live in a small town in Mississippi. I am a recent convert to the church and am the only member in my entire family. I am SO incredibly thankful that I met the missionaries. They truly changed my life and I know that the Holy Spirit led me to them. I have been in school pretty much my entire life and for some reason, I don't want to leave! After finally finishing a degree in fine arts, I have decided there are many others I want as well. I have always had a natural curiosity about the world so I try to learn anything and everything that I possibly can, especially about space and theoretical physics (too bad being an astronaut has a height requirement). Luckily though, I have found that the knowledge we obtain in this life will give us further advantage in the next life! Apart from that, I love to draw and paint. I have had a passion for art for as long as I can remember. I think my love for art ties in with my love for video games and movies. I guess you could say I really enjoy aesthetics! With all of that being said, I know that my love for all of these things comes from the one that created and loves me and that is my Heavenly Father. He loves each of us more than we can ever fathom and I know that He further proves this by allowing us to receive His guidance today through His living prophet, Thomas S. Monson.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I've never been happier than I am now. I did exactly what Moroni 10:4 tells us to do. I prayed about it with a sincere heart and I received an answer. This church is true and I can testify that if you too will do the same and that if you will pray with real intent and with faith, the truthfulness of this gospel will be manifested unto you. My life has completely changed since joining the church. I have so much joy, where before I had none. I have something to strive for and I love knowing that I can be with my family, friends, and my future husband/future children again even after our physical deaths. I know that living the LDS life and following the commandments will bring us greater happiness and satisfaction than anything else we can imagine!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following the teachings of Christ, Heavenly Father, and this true gospel. I know that this life is a probationary period. I know that it is a personal journey for each of us and I strive daily to be the best person that I can be so that I may one day dwell in the presence of my creator when this journey is over. I always look for opportunities to share my beliefs with others and nothing makes me happier than answering questions about my faith. :)
