Hi I'm David

I grew up in Washington Utah. I am currently serving a mission in Minnesota. I love sports and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just graduated high school. Currently serving a mission in Minneapolis. I will be going to college when I get back from my mission. I like running and doing out door activities like camping, hiking, biking and playing sports. I also like doing activities with my family and friends. I have a older sister serving a mission right now and a younger brother that recently passed away.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in this gospel, but my family feel away when I was younger. It was my 9th grade year when I started coming back to this gospel, because of good friends telling me how much fun seminary was and also my parents made me take it. which helped me change my life around the more I learned about this gospel and want to live better than I have been. Through learning in seminary, praying, and studying the scriptures, I was able to feel God's love towards me, get my own testimony of the truthfulness of this gospel, which helped me want to do what is right so that I will be able to return to him. My brother passed away May 5th and I don't know how I would of gotten through it with out the gospel, I know that families can be together forever, I know that I will be able to see him again one day, I know with all my heart and soul that this gospel is true, the Book of Mormon is the true words of Christ ,I know that it was translated through Joesph Smith by the power of God and that Joesph was a prophet of God that through him Jesus Christ was able to restore his gospel back on earth. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love every one of us and that through Jesus Christ's Atonement, or suffering for all of our afflictions and sins, we can be forgiven of our sins if we truly repent, have a change of heart not wanting to do it again and want to become better. I also know that there is a modern day prophet called from God here on earth today.

How I live my faith

Before I left to start my mission I was first assistant in priest quorum, (which is were boys ages 16-18 meet) were I helped the Bishop in priest quorum by starting the class, getting stuff that the Bishop in the ward I was in needed me to get done and every other month I would conduct the start of young men and young women each Tuesday evening, where we would meet together to do activities. I was on the stake youth council committee and we planed for the firesides for the youth in the stake and any other activities we were doing as a stake. Also I was a special needs councilor it is just like young men and young women, but each councilor was in charge of someone that had special needs, it was really fun. We would play games, have a few dances, made crafts and a lot of other stuff. Every few Sundays we would go to a ward around Washington fields area and we would sing to them and some of the councilors and some of the special needs would get up at give a talk and bare their testimonies.
