Hi I'm Sabrina

I'm a first grade teacher. I love Christmas music and traveling. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Maryland and New Mexico. My father is chilean and my mother is american. I have two older brothers and a younger sister. I graduated from college two years ago after serving a full-time mission for the church in Lisbon, Portugal. I work as a first grade teacher in a Portuguese Dual Immersion program and I love it! I recently married the love of my life and we are living happily in Utah.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always believed in God and Jesus Christ. Why I have chosen to be a Mormon is because I believe very strongly that God's power is in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It is the only church on the earth that has the authority and priesthood of God on earth. It allows us to participate in essential ordinances and covenants that help us return and live with Heavenly Father. It allows us to have eternal families, blessings, and a strong connection of revelation with God. It helps us to access the Atonement of Jesus Christ and feel the power of change and repentance in our lives. It helps me personally feel God's love everyday and hope for the future no matter what I am facing. The gospel of Jesus Christ is everything to me and I have found it completely in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I have learned so much in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It has made me become a better person to be a part of a community centered on Christ where we serve one another. I have had many opportunities to serve the women, young women, and children in the wards I have attended. I currently serve as the organist for our Sunday meetings. I know that music has a powerful influence on the soul and have enjoyed teaching myself the organ after learning the piano while growing up.
