Hi I'm Carrie

I'm a Colorado girl living in sunny Murrieta CA. I love crafty things and sewing. I'm a Zumba fanatic! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in an Air Force family. While I claim I am from Seattle, I lived there two weeks. We moved around every few years until my Dad retired when I was in 5th grade. I think moving that much helped shape me into who I am today. I am outgoing and love to make new friends. After graduating from college, my husband and I moved 1,000 miles away from our families. We are enjoying a new stage in our lives, and despite being together for almost 7 years and married for almost 3 years...we don't have any kids.

Why I am a Mormon

I was fortunate enough to be born into the LDS church. Growing up with the Mormon religion surrounding me every day helped solidify my testimony in Jesus Christ and God. When I graduated from high school and went off to college, it was easy to continue attending my church meetings because I knew that's where I was supposed to be. Life can throw you off your pathway in a split second but knowing that I am never alone and that God is always watching out for me helps keep my life in balance. Not matter where I go, the church is always there for me. When my husband and I moved away from our families it was wonderful to know that I didn't have to spend time searching for "the right church" because I have already found it.

How I live my faith

I am currently teaching Sunday School for the 12-13 year old kids at church. I have taught other ages in the past (18 months-3 years old, 9-10 year olds, and 11 year olds at different times), but this group of kids has been my favorite so far. They are a good, strong group of kids that I learn from every week.
