Hi I'm Cortney

I grew up in Utah and Washington, went to college at BYU Idaho, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am the oldest of 4, I have 2 younger sisters and we have a younger brother. I have 2 wonderful parents who raised us in the church. I am looking forward to serving a mission in the New York, New York North mission soon, I have a firm testimony of Christ and His restored Gospel and I am excited to share His word with anyone willing to listen.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, many of my ancestors were pioneers. I have grown learning about their miraculous events, and trials, and have taken their stories to heart. I am thankful for their testimonies because they have strengthened mine. I am a Latter-Day Saint because I firmly believe in what my ancestors fought for and what they did for me. I believe firmly in the words of the Book of Mormon, and have a testimony of all things pertaining by it's precepts.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by staying true to myself, my standards and my values. I strive everyday to always keep in mind that I have a purpose on this earth to live in a way that will reflect the light of Christ. I strive to remain worthy of the spirit so that I might touch others by setting a good example. I am currently serving as an ordinance worker in the temple, which reminds me weekly of the covenants I have made, to always be true to them, and to endure to the end.
