Hi I'm James

I grew up Salt Lake City. Spent time in high school with kids with disabilities, still do. I am a mormon.

About Me

Right now I just work. I plan on going to school though I'm not sure how I will do it. First and for most I will serve an LDS mission. I have spent a lot of time with kids who have disabilities, particularly Autism, and can't seem to love anyone more.

Why I am a Mormon

My belief in mormonism started with it's role in my life as nothing more than an improvement of my life. I am a mormon because it constantly improves my life and my decisions. In addition I believe in God. I believe in a creation of things and in this world that couldn't have occurred by chance. I believe in contrast, in sadness and in happiness and I don't believe any of it would have existed without a plan to make it last. I am a mormon because I choose to be. Because I am happy as a mormon. Because I have a hope for my family, my future family, and for a life after death as a mormon does.

How I live my faith

I have always been a mormon, but I have never been satisfied with just another person's word that this is the religion for me. Ever since I was 14 I have spent many hours reading, pondering, and most importantly participating in the things of this church. I am preparing to serve an LDS mission and have been for years now. I don't just apply the teachings of this church for the sake of understanding anymore. I live it because I feel happy when I do. I live it because I want a family that's happy to. I live it because it satisfies something inside of me that constantly needs to be satisfied. I share it because I feel and see what this church does to a broken life and can't stand others not knowing that it exists, at the very least.
