Hi I'm Jeanie

Hi I grew up in Scotland now live in England I am a Mormon

About Me

I was Baptised in 1991 in Dumfires Scotland I was looking for my Saviour Jesus Christ I moved to England in 2001 after being Medically retired I wanted to be with my youngest Son after my Eldest Son died in an accident in 1998 I love going to Church here I have made lots of friends both inside and outside the church. My faith and friends really helped me when my youngest son died I moved here to be with him now he to is gone But I know through the attonement of Jesus Christ we will be together again as a family for time and all eternity. I love making my own cards especially Quilling it's relaxing and therapeutic. I love reading my scriptures and talking with my Heavenly Father Through Prayer.I love serving others and I love going to our Temple it's so lovely having a Temple close by even though I don't drive I take the oppertunity to go their when ever I can it's where I feel the closest to my Saviour and Heavenly Father

Why I am a Mormon

I believe in our church I know it's true I know my that Jesus Christ lives I believe he is the head of our church I know the book of Mormon to be true and if you read it and go in sincere prayer to Heavenly Father He with tell you it is true. Joseph Smith would never have gone through all he did for a lie you only need to listen to his words to know he was a true Prophet of our Lord as Is Tomas S Monson our living prophet today I love the gospel it changed my live for the good.

How I live my faith

I live my faith 7 days a week I am completely converted to the church of Jesus Christ of Latter day saints I have had many callings in my ward I have taught in all sorts of positions at present I collate our ward History. and I run the church Library. I pray often to my Heavenly Father I often attend our Temple at East Grinstead it's the most peaceful place on Earth it's the Temple of our Lord I try to read and study the scriptures every day I like to to that early in the morning before the world is awake.
