Hi I'm Tom

I grew up in Utah, I'm an Athlete, a brother, a son, I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love sports and the outdoors. My favorite sports are basketball and football! I played football in High School, and played lots of basketball for fun with friends. I am a die hard San Diego Chargers fan! I am serving a mission in the Texas Fort Worth Mission from November 2012-2014. I love my family very much! I have 2 older sisters who are both married. I went to school for a year at UVU and am studying to become a mechanical engineer. After my mission I plan to go back to school.

Why I am a Mormon

For a period of time in my teen years, I fell away from the church. During that period of time I wasn't happy, I seemed to be angry more often and I found that I wasn't the person I wanted to be. I hit rock bottom and turned to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, through his atonement and grace I re-found my faith and I will never turn back. The difference between having the gospel and not is night and day. As I have studied from the Book of Mormon I have come to know through the Holy Spirit that it is the Word of God, I have also come to know that Joseph Smith was called of God, and Restored the same exact church that Jesus Christ established while he was on the earth. I also know that the Bible is the Word of God. And most importantly I know that God lives, and so does his son Jesus Christ, and it is through the Holy Ghost that they are able to communicate with us and help us return to our Father's presence some day.

How I live my faith

I grew up a member but I found my faith while I was at a church activity during a testimony meeting, which is whoever wants to can get up and share what they know and believe to be true. I am serving a mission to help people find the joy and peace that I couldn't live without.
