Hi I'm Eli Gremmert

I grew up in the great Northwest. I love to help people, seeing how others and I learn from one another . I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Right now I am currently trying to decide what it is that I wish to persue in my life as well as for my occupation. I have found that being a Mormon has helped me out in many ways already in my life and I know that it will continue too. Growing up, the beliefes that I have come to embrace continue to help me live a happy life. I have been able to avoid situations and substances that would have hindered both my standing as a person and as a student and athlete. I am very grateful for the guidance and direction that I am able to receive because of my understanding of what it is we are here on the Earth to accomplish. As I go on to determine what it is I wish to study in college at BYU, I know that the Lord will continue to direct me in my life. As I have come to trust in him and this Gospel, my life is continually blessed. I love getting to know new people and helping them in any way that I can, and because I have grown up as a Mormon, I have gratefully been given the opportunity to serve many times in my life. I love this Church and I wish to do all that I can to help others come closer to Jesus Christ as well as have more happiness in their lives. And as I now am serving as a missionary for this Church, I am given the chance to learn and to serve others each and every day!

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in this Church with my friends and family. This has allowed me to have many benefits in my life while growing up that I would not have had otherwise. I continue to follow The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I have come to know that it is the true Church upon the Earth today. Also, I would not be where I am or who I am today without it, and I know that the Lord wants to bless us in our lives, and will continue to do so if we are willing to follow his example. In the past I really had to decide if this was for me or not as I went through my own struggles in life. Thankfully, when I was most lost and confused, others reached out to me to help me through. And now I can give back even as others gave to me. I am now serving a 2 year mission for this Church because of my love of service, for Jesus Christ, and for those that I am helping to come closer to him and receive his blessings and love into their lives. There is nothing else I would rather be doing than what I am now as a missoinary. If you have questions of any kind, would simply like to know more, or would just like to have some sort of service done, please get in contact with the missionaries, we can and we will help you.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in many ways, including my day to day activities. We have been taught and counseled to be an example of the believers both in word and in action. I strive every day to accomplish this goal by the life that I live. As a member I am able to meet with those that are also of this Church to help them through service to them and their families. I am also open and willing to talk about religion with anyone who has questions about this Church where ever I may go and as I work each day. Growing up in the Church, I have also had the opportunity to learn how to understand and lead others as I have served in leadership positions as a youth and young adult. I love helping other people, and I have been able too because of the many opportunities we are given to serve one another as members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints as we all strive to come closer together in faith, in unity, and in understanding.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Eli Gremmert
Not only do we have all that is around us that God has created in nature to testify of him and his creations, but we also have one another here on the Earth. The very fact that the intricate manner of us as individuals clearly shows that there is a God that has planned and designed this all. Individually we are each unique, physically and personally, no two individuals are completely alike. Only God could create such wonderful complexity as this. Each and every day, as we learn from one another as well as teach one another, we are able to grow and develop through all of our combined experiences. A plan such as this could only have come about through God himself. Show more Show less

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Eli Gremmert
To know if this is the one and only true church of Jesus Christ, as with all things, you can come to know by asking our Father in Heaven if it be so. We must show forth our faith in order to gain an understanding of any priniciple or lesson to be learned in this life. So too must this be done to know if Mormonism is true. Choose to act, show forth your faith in both desire to learn and to know as well as in how you live. Both beliefe and action will be needed to come to know if this is true. Live some of the prinicples taught by Christ to His church today, study the Book of Mormon, and then sincerely pray to know if it is true. God promises that He will answer you, and then you can know the truth of whatever it is you are asking. Show more Show less
