Hi I'm YU TSZ HIN

I grew up in Hong Kong and in a LDS family. I am a missionary in Massachusetts Boston Mission now and I am a Mormon. =)

About Me

I grew up in Hong Kong and I was born in a LDS family. I am 19 and I studied in BYU-Hawaii for a year. However, I stopped and decided to go on a mission for 2 years. I am serving my mission in Massachusetts Boston Mission. I love sports and I used to be in track and field when I was in school. I am a out door person and love adventure.....kind of XD. I also love making friends. XD

Why I am a Mormon

I am born and raise Mormon. I go to church every week since I was small. I remember I do not like attending church at all because 3 hours meeting for a little kid is not easy. In addition, I did not understand what they were trying to teach me, so the meeting was so boring for me. Every Sunday, I wanted to hang out with friends and have fun, but in stead, I went to church with my parents because they asked me to do so. One day, in a class at church, my teacher introduced a scripture to us and challenged us to do what the scripture tells us to do, which said ''And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost. And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things.'' I felt I need to do that, to ask God if the Church is true, if the Book of Mormon is true, if God exist, he will answer my prayer and if the Book of Mormon is true, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true Church on the Earth. So one night, before I went to sleep, I prayed and asked Heavenly Father about the Book of Mormon. He did answer my prayer. I got the answer that night. After the prayer, I heard a vice saying ''It is true, you should keep going to church.'' and at the same time, I felt warm, peace and joy inside my heart. It is very hard to describe but I cannot deny that Heavenly Father did answer my prayer and I cannot deny that the Book of Mormon is true, it is the second witness that Jesus is the Christ, the Savior of the world.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by building my testimony. I read the scripture and pray everyday, I go to church every Sunday and I go to temple as frequent as I can. I am doing my best to follow our Savior and trying to be like Him. I gain a lot of testimonies in my scripture reading, praying, church and temple attending, yet, I found out the best way to increase my testimony is to help others and share the Gospel. As a member of the LDS Church, as a disciple of Jesus Christ, He promises us we will find joy and we will be blessed if we share the Gospel, if we feed His sheep and save His lambs. I can testify that is true. I have been blessed as I am sharing to Gospel and helping the others to learn more about Jesus Christ. My testimony has been built a little by little as I help the others to find joy and peace.

Who wrote the Book of Mormon?

YU TSZ HIN
The Book of Mormon was written by many people. Just like the Bible, it is a record. The prophets in Jerusalem wrote down what God told them to write down and the people today put them together to form a book, and we call it Bible. The prophets in ancient America wrote down what God told them to write down and the last prophet of ancient America, Moroni, buried the record before he died. The record was translated by Joseph Smith by the power of God so we can read the record and learn more the words of God. That record is the Book of Mormon. Show more Show less
