Hi I'm Caleb

I grew up in Kamas, Utah. I like mountains, sketching, anything about Ancient Rome, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like to sing and was in choir groups most of my childhood. I preformed in many plays an musicals. I love to sketch and let my imagination roam. I am a legendary campfire story teller. I enjoy Computers. I enjoy reading about and studying about Ancient Rome and warfare in that time period. I like to hike in mountains and love to go caving and bouldering. I hope to one day join the United States Military and to have a big family.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Mormon Church but there came a time when I knew I needed to know for my self if the Church was true. I did as I have always been told to do, I prayed to God to know if it is true. The answer didn't come immediately but as I continued to read the scriptures, I felt that they had to be true. It made me feel happy and I saw how it changed my life and the life of others around me. In times of trial, I go back to the scriptures, both the Bible and the Book of Mormon, for answers and solace. I have never turned to the scripture and not been uplifted. I like the teachings of our Church, such as the chance to be together with my family forever.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through always showing my love for God and my commitment to follow His Son, Jesus Christ. I try to live my life where others will know I love my Heavenly Father. One of the greatest teaching Jesus gave was that we should "Love one Another". I always strive to show love and give service to others. There are few things that bring me as much joy as serving others. Currently, I have the opportunity to serve a two year Mission, where I help others to come unto Christ and to believe in Him. I love the chance I have to be busy in the Lords work. I get to spend every day serving and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
