Hi I'm Marci

I grew up in Lindon, Utah. I play the piano, I sing, I love soccer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love life. I love learning, I love soccer, I love music, and I love being around people. At a young age my aunt and uncle died in a severe car accident leaving their 5 kids as orphans. My family had the opportunity to take all 5 of the children into our own home and to become one happy family of 13. Though there have been many struggles and hardships, through the example of my parents and the way they taught me to live the gospel, our family has been able to endure all that has come across our path. I have always enjoyed having a lot of people around to laugh with and to just be crazy. I am currently serving a mission in Irvine California and love every minute of it.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a strong testimony of this gospel. I know without a doubt that it is true. Having grown up in the church I have had to find out for myself if I truly believed all that my parents had taught me. Through many experiences in my life, I can now stand proudly and declare that I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ, which was restored to the earth through the prophet Joseph Smith, is the only true gospel upon the faith of the earth. Being a Mormon is absolutely the best way to live. I have been blessed with so much peace, happiness, love, pure joy, understanding, and everything else that is good in this life. I am blessed with the ability to talk to God through prayer and revelation daily because I have the blessing of the Holy Spirit with me all the time. I have received guidance and a knowledge of who I am and who I can become. I can feel God's love for me daily in my life as I continue to keep his commandments and live his gospel. I have been blessed with the best life because of Jesus Christ and his Gospel. So that is why I am Mormon. Because God sent his son to save me and gave me all of these blessings, but the way I show gratitude to him and actually accept the blessings he has given me is by living his gospel. I would not choose to live any other way.

How I live my faith

As I said, I am serving a mission in Irvine California where I dedicate all of my time for a 1 1/2 to the Lord. Throughout my experience I have learned and felt the immense love that God has for his children. I have been able to help people come unto Christ and change their lives around for the better. I feel like there is no better way to practice your faith, than to serve all of those around you. And here on my mission I have been blessed with the opportunity to do that full-time.
