Hi I'm Kyle

I come from an Italian family. I play guitar and piano. I like to cook and eat. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Ever since I can remember, I have loved cooking. I grew up in an Italian family, so it just came naturally. I love making food, and I love eating it even more. For a while I thought about being a chef, but after long thought and prayer, I wanted to get a higher education. I am a Computer Engineering student at Brigham Young University - Idaho. I love it here. The Spirit of God is so strong. I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ encompasses all things that are true, including secular subjects. BYU-I provides a good environment for the Spirit to teach and for me to learn. Music is a big part of my life. I have been playing guitar for 6 years, and piano for 3. When I was younger I would practice about 20 hours a week. Now I am older, I unfortunately don't have that kind of time anymore, but I still play whenever I can. I also spend my free time hanging out with friends, playing games, and watching cop shows.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints holds the fullness of the gospel; the same gospel that Christ taught during His earthly ministry. I know that The Book of Mormon is true. It goes hand in hand with The Bible; The Old Testament, The New Testament, and The Book of Mormon - Another Testament of Jesus Christ. I know that it is true because I have read it, and I have prayed about it, and the Spirit of God testified to me that it is His word. If the Book of Mormon is true, that means that Joseph Smith had to of been a prophet, and if he was a prophet, that means that God still speaks to man, and that His church is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I know that this is the true church, and you can too. Just read the book of Mormon and sincerely pray about it to God. God cannot lie. Either we are right, or we are all frauds (heads up, we are right). I am a Mormon. I know it, I live it, and I love it!

How I live my faith

As of April, 2013 I am a full-time missionary for the church for two whole years. A friend of mine once asked me why I chose to serve a mission. I told her, "because there is none greater call than to walk the earth and teach as Christ did; changing the world one person, and one family at a time." To quote President Ezra Taft Benson, "The Lord works from the inside out. The world works from the outside in. The world would take people out of the slums. Christ would take the slums out of people, and then they would take themselves out of the slums. The world would mold men by changing their environment. Christ changes men, who then change their environment. The world would shape human behavior, but Christ can change human nature." The goal of a missionary is not to baptize people, sure it is a necessary step, but the end goal of a missionary is to bring others unto Christ and to the temple to be sealed to their families for all time and eternity. I am honored that God would call me to help with this great work.
