Hi I'm Stefano L. Corsini

I was born in Provo, Utah and lived in Mexico for several years. I am a College Student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

While I was born in the United States, I lived in Mexico for several years. This helped me understand another culture, love them, and increased my desire to share my knowledge about the Savior Jesus Christ with other people. I love to learn... specially new languages. I enjoy being able to express my ideas and feelings with fellow brethren from other places in the world, and being able to learn from them. Since I was younger, my biggest dream was always to serve my Lord as a missionary; today I am able to live that dream. I am currently serving as a full-time missionary of Jesus Christ in Belgium and the Netherlands. I know that the only way to be back to our Heavenly Father is through obedience to God's commandments and by repenting. We are literally God's children and He loves us.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the Savior Jesus Christ. He has done so much for me. I don't think my life would be the same without His example. I know that through obedience to His commandments and covenants I have made with Him, I can go back to His presence and my Heavenly Father's. I have a testimony that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is directed by the Lord Jesus Christ, and that He has a prophet on the Earth today, even Thomas S. Monson, to whom He reveals His will for His children on this Earth. Through Prophet Joseph Smith, the Lord restored the ordinances required to return to His presence, like baptism. "I am a Mormon... I know it, I live, and I love it."

How I live my faith

If I could describe in one word how I live my faith, it would be action. James taught: "For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also." Even though I am not perfect in this, I work hard to show my faith through works. As I strive to live and act according to my faith, I know I will have the company of the Holy Ghost in my life and will be able to overcome I enjoy serving. I think I started enjoying this through my faith and the Gospel. As a young man I started with several projects to serve those in need in our community and the rest of the youth who were inactive. The Lord Jesus Christ showed love and service as one of His main character traits. He's my best example. I have learned that the first place where I need to serve, learn, and nurture one another is my home. Family is central in the Plan that God has for us. As we strive to leave Christ's teachings in our families, we will find peace and happiness.

Are Mormons Christians?

Stefano L. Corsini
The central belief of every Mormon is (or should be) that Jesus is the Christ. In fact " We talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ... that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins." Jesus Christ is our light, our example, and the reason of our whole existence. Because Jesus Christ came to this Earth and died for us, we can repent and be forgiven from our sins. He is my brother, my Savior and my Redeemer. I love Him with all my heart... that's why I am a Mormon, a Christian and a Son of God. Show more Show less
