Hi I'm Joni Olson

Born and raised in Arizona. I love being outdoors. My family is most important. I'm a Daugther of God. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and rasied in Cottonwood Arizona. I played sports all throughout my youth, my favorites being basketball and softball. I love to paint portraits of my nieces and nephews. Friends are a huge part of my life. I'm the kind of person who loves to meet new people, once you know me I usually can't stop talking, I try my hardest to be a friend to everyone, because there is always something special in all of us. Outdoor activites are another big part of my life, from gardening to waterskiing to four wheeling. As long as I'm spending time with my family I don't care where I'm at. I am the youngest of 5 children, with 2 nieces, and 4 nephews. Life for me was easy growing up, I was 12 when the second youngest moved out of the house. As my parents traveled for the next 7 years I was right there next to them. I am 19, starting to begin my own adventure. I will soon be on my way to the Tacoma Washington Mission, where I will get the opprotunity to share and teach about this wonderful gospel. .

Why I am a Mormon

This gospel brings so much happiness and light into my life. As I read my scriptures, pray, and even talking about the church it brings such a wonderful peace to my soul. I am a Mormon, because I know that I am a Daughter of God and that he loves me for me. God is our Heavenly Father, I know he loves me, he loves each of us, more then would could ever understand. I know he sent his Son, our elder brother, Jesus Christ for us, to die for us, every last one of us. So that someday we too can live with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ again. I love this gospel and everyhting that's in it. I know the scriptures to be true, every story happened. I know, I know, I know. I can feel it inside me, burning my chest, the Holy Ghost testifying to me, there is no doubt in my mind that this is the true gospel.

How I live my faith

In my youth in young womens I was president over my Beehive, Miamaid and Laural Class. When I turned 18, I was called to be a primary teacher, teaching (age 4) . Later I was called to be the Young Adult Representitive, it was my job to get the young adults to Chruch meetings and activities. I strive everyday to be more Christ like, by serving others, even if it's just putting a smile on somones face. I'm not affraid to tell people what I believe in, what this gospel stands for and what it truely means to me. I am proud to be apart of this gospel.
