Hi I'm Jarom

I grew up in a small town in North Georgia. I love sports and coaching sports. I love the outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a middle school boys basketball coach. I love working with the young men and helping them to better themselves. I enjoy playing all sports and I love being outside. I have a beautiful wife and a nutty dog. I am an Eagle Scout. I have a wonderful life and I try and make the most out of every minute.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this Gospel makes me feel good about myself and what I am doing in this life. I never thought that I could feel so good and happy with the things that I do. I have been unemployed and I know that the Lord has a plan for me. I have had my time where I did not know if the Church was true and during that time I was never truly happy. I liked to act like I was happy and that nothing bothered me but as I look back on my life I realize that I was not living my life to the fullest. I was only going through the motions and putting on an act for the world. Now I feel so warm inside and I am truly happy. The Lord blessed me with a wonderful wife one that helps me do what is right. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true church of Christ. I know that Joseph Smith was the prophet of the Restoration and that through the inspired tanslation of the Book of Mormon we can gain greater understanding of what the Lord has in store for us.

How I live my faith

My wife and I get the blessing of teaching the 5 year olds at church every Sunday. We love teaching the kids, they have such a sweet spirit about them. We also try and help the people that move into the ward feel more comfortable. One way that we do that is something that my mom always did growing up. She used to make home made bread or cookies and we would take it over to the persons house and visit with them and get to know them. We gained many fond friends and it always felt good to help others.
