Hi I'm Daniel

I grew up in Virginia. I was homeschooled through high school. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Virginia and was home-schooled through high school. I then went to a community college and then to a university where I studied chemical engineering. Some of my interests include camping, hiking, and anything else outdoors. I also enjoy carpentry and construction. Another of my hobbies is computers. I am constantly removing or installing some operating system or other, usually some version of Linux. Best of all, I am now serving a two-year mission in Norway!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this is what God wants me to be. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to be His restored Church. The Bible says, "by their fruits ye shall know them," and I have only seen good "fruit" from this Church. Despite all the instability and confusion that exist today my membership in the Church brings much needed light, peace and meaning to my life.

How I live my faith

My faith affects every aspect of my life in a positive way. I read from the scriptures and pray daily. I attend church and do my best to help everyone around me. My faith tells me to serve Christ and therefore mankind with all my "heart, might, mind and strength." Perhaps the most obvious way I live my faith is my preparing to serve a two-year, full-time mission.
