Hi I'm Brayden Murdoch

I'm a Top Gear enthusiast, I Love my family and I Love being a Mormon!

About Me

Grew up in Alpine Utah, I'm 20 years old. Graduated from Lone Peak Highschool. I love music! I will listen to pretty much any genres of music, but to be honest I do struggle to put up with country a little. I enjoy everything outdoors that's partially why I am a die hard Utah fan, you can seriously do every outdoor adventure in Utah. I love cars, I have seen pretty much every Top Gear (UK) episode there is. If you own a Nissan GTR I will most certainly be your friend! I currently have been blessed with the opportunity to serve as a Full-Time Missionary for our savior Jesus Christ in the England London South Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed with the opportunity to be raised in the church. I looked what an amazing family I had and how much this gospel has brought my family together. So growing up I never really thought much about if the church was true or not. It's kinda like when things are going really good in life. You don't really see a need for change and you tend to just go about life in the same direction. As I grew up, I was able to watch older siblings serve missions and how much they loved it. So I was always looking forward to the time I could. But as it was coming up to the time that I could serve a mission. I had to stop and think things through. Because there comes a time in everyone's lives that we need grow up and find out things for ourselves. I looked at myself and thought, do I really know this is true? As a missionary you have to completely give up everything for 2 years. To think that I would have to leave everything and everyone that I loved and cared about for 2 years... Would it really be worth it? I couldn't leave for 2 years and share a message with someone when personally I did not 100% believe it myself. It would simply be a waste of time and a lot of money. I then decided to find out for myself. For anyone who seeks to find answers in life the main thing you do is just seek it! So I then did my best to try and find the answers to my questions. As I prayed to our Heavenly Father I was just asking whether or not this church was true. But I wasn't getting an answer... I started to notice what the problem was. I wasn't praying and wanting an answer with all my heart. I wasn't willing to sacrifice my full heart into getting that answer. After pondering and really realizing that I do want to know. I was able to read through the Book of Mormon and the Bible and receive an answer that they are the word of God. I was able to finally know for my self that Jesus is the Christ and that only through him and his Atonement may we find everlasting peace and happiness.

How I live my faith

I have been so blessed and found so much joy in my life from being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Looking at all the happiness and joy that has came into my life simply because of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I felt it necessary to make sure that I do all that I can to share the great blessings i have had with others. One of these ways to share these blessings was to put everything aside in my life and serve Jesus Christ for 2 years. Being a Full-Time Missionary in the England London South Mission has brought me so much more happiness into my life than I ever could have imagined. To see peoples lives change for the better as I help bring the gospel into their lives has brought me to the conclusion that there simply is no greater happiness that can be found other than serving our Savior Jesus Christ.
