Hi I'm Blaze

Born and raised in Provo, I build things for fun. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Im the oldest in my family, i have only one younger sister. I'm a very hands on guy. I love to build things from chessboards to longboards. and i love to do it for fun. Creating things is my favorite thing to do! I love to do things outdoors as well. Camping, backpacking, and hiking just to name a few. Most of all, I LOVE to ride my bike! mountain biking or road, i love to be on 2 wheels! I graduated high school may of 2012. afterwards i worked in the food business for about a year or so. right now, i am serving a full time mission in Chicago Illinois!

Why I am a Mormon

I joined this Church because I wanted to be happy. When i was 15, i found my self asking this question "Why am I not happy?" I couldnt find a answer. High School was harder than i expected, my family and I argued a lot, and i didnt really have many friends to talk to. I had nowhere to turn. The only place I could relieve my stress was at wrestling practice. But even then, i kept asking the same question "Why am I not happy? Truly happy?" After that I evaluated everything I did, and looked at ways to improve. I grew up in a place called Provo, Utah. There are quite few members of our church that live there. I looked at them and noticed that the people that made the Gospel a priority in their lives, were happy. truly happy. I wanted that, so i went to Church. I remember sitting down and looking at my friend that brought me there, and telling him, tears rolling down my face, "I am Happy!" After that, i took the Missionary discussions, and was Baptized a member on November 28th, 2009. I'll never forget that day. Since I've become a member, my knowledge of Jesus Christ has grown immensely. I know that He is my Savior, and that He loves me. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I know that Joseph Smith was the Prophet that restored this true Church. But most of all, I know beyond any doubt, that the Gospel of Jesus Christ, can and will bring true happiness. I know that. I promise that.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by always practicing what I preach. I've learned to better myself from watching others change for the better, as well as learning from my mistakes. The biggest part for me, is living it 24/7. \ I was taught to do the right thing growing up, and I continue to do the same with the guidelines of the church. Before serving a mission, I taught primary, (9 to 10 year olds) and i helped out quite a bit with the scouting program in my ward.
