Hi I'm Bryson

I'm 19, I'm pursuing a career in film arts and acting.I love to down hill ski. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 19 yr. old college student. I plan to continue college and hopefully find one that offers the program I am looking for that being film arts. Hopefully I will get married in the near future, but who knows when that will happen! One of the best jobs I have ever had, was working as an actor for a summer stock theatre company! Which was a blast!! I was really involved with theatre, and acting in high school. I also have my feet wet in the techical aspect of things! This has definitely interested me in the technical aspect of film as well, which is what I am pursuing at the moment. One hobby that I love is downhill skiing. When I was about 4 or 5, my grandma taught me how to ski, and I have loved winter time for that very reason ever since! There is something so exciting about flying down a mountain with fresh powder to glide on. I love spending time with my family as well. Family has always been something very near and dear to my heart, and I have always felt so blessed to be raised in a family that loves me for who I am, and always encourages me. It makes me very excited to start my own family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was priveleged to be born and raised upon the principles of the Mormon church. The reason I continue now, is because, experience has shown, that when I am focusing my efforts to live the doctrines and principles taught in this church, I am truly happy. Happiness is what each and everyone of us strive for. Whether we realize it or not, our souls are always seeking the things that bring true and everlasting happiness. I have come to realize that my true happiness comes wholly from living the principles, and doctrines found in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Infact, it's the only place I have been truly happy. We all have our own personal struggles and challenges in life, and my way of dealing with those is by clinging to the gospel, specifically, the Book of Mormon. This, in turn, builds my faith in God, and I feel my self come closer to him as well. This cycle has happened numerously throughout my life, and that tells me that this must be God's church.

How I live my faith

In my opinion, God has provided us with many opportunities to move his work forward, and they are usually in ways that we don't expect. I love using the opportunities I am given to consider what God would have me do with them, and then do my best to do it. God has provided us numerous ways for us to perform service for our fellow-men, or to grow closer to him spiritually.

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

Absolutely!! Men and Women have their own divine role in life. A man and a woman become one in purpose together when they are married. That purpose is to raise a family in love and righteousness, and support and build each other up out of deep sincere love for each other. Mormon women have the same opportunities as any other women, they can have a career if they so choose, and fulfill their interests in life, just as a man is presented with the same opportunity.
