Hi I'm Trent

I've lived in Provo my whole life. I enjoy reading, white water kayaking, soccer and running. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have gone to a semester of college majoring in aviation science. I am an assistant track and field coach over distance runners at a local high school. I enjoy white water kayaking with my father whenever I can.

Why I am a Mormon

One major reason I choose to be a Mormon is the relationships I have with the members of my ward. We truly are a ward family. I feel God's love for me through the members of my ward and their concern for me. In a previous summer, I had a job that required me to work most Sundays, and I wasn't able to go to church. I felt a remarkable difference between when I was able to go and when I wasn't. I know that continuously learning about our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and His plan for us is the surest way to have happiness. I know Jesus Christ atoned for each of us, and wants us to use his atonement to improve our lives here and after death because He loves us.

How I live my faith

In my ward I teach the 10 and 11 year old boys' class. It is hard to get them to focus, but when they do, I love to see them as they ask questions and find the answers in the scriptures. I am also an assistant den leader for the Webelos cub scouts. In March, I will be going into the Missionary Training Center to prepare to go to Chihuahua, Mexico and preach the gospel.
