Hi I'm Chance

I'm a musician. I'm a pig farmer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised in a small town in the outskirts of another small town. I made most of my childhood spending money raising and selling pigs at the local county fair, with many of my friends. I discovered my passion for music when I was 8, upon receiving an unforeseen guitar for Christmas. After years of lessons, I began writing and recording music. I was accepted to college with hopes of majoring in linguistics. Foreign cultures and languages have always fascinated me, and someday I would like to travel and see many of them. My first opportunity for this being serving my mission, which I am sure will be quite an adventure in a land so far away.

Why I am a Mormon

People naturally gravitate towards truth and light. I am no exception. The spirit can and does bear witness of all truths. This is what has kept me a Mormon throughout my life. "Mormon" is simply the name given to restored and complete Gospel truth in our modern times. I love this Gospel. It is what makes me so happy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith daily as I go to work each day. I am one of two LDS church members at my place of employment, and it is a constant necessity to be an example tot those around me. Because inevitably, people wonder why we as Mormons are so happy, and I would like my coworkers to have access to the same level of happiness that I am lucky enough to experience every day. Each day of life requires one to be an outward example of one's inward beliefs. Every situation must be carefully watched over and handled correctly.
