Hi I'm Steve

I was born and raised in Virginia, have worked for almost 30 years in the telecom industry and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of 3 beautiful daughters, have been married for going on 34 years now and we are blessed to have 7 grandchildren. I work as a sales manager for Time Warner Cable in North Carolina. My parents joined the LDS church in the early 1960's when I was about 6 years old. Our lives changed for the better and we continue to be greatly blessed because of the decision that my parents made many years ago. I served a mission for the church in Paris, France and had experiences there that changed my life forever. I met my wife at BYU and we have been together through many wonderful and trying times in our lives but are grateful for our experiences along the way.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have studied the gospel, read the Book of Mormon and knelt down and asked my Heavenly Father if it was true. I received my answer many years ago that it was true and that answer has been refreshed and renewed many times in my life through my experiences in the church and in life that have testified to me that what I know to be true is in fact true. I had the blessing of sharing the gospel with many others and saw how it changed their lives for the better, giving them knowledge as to why we are here and the real purpose to this life. I continue to have my testimony strengthened by the Spirit as I serve in my callings today,

How I live my faith

I have had many great experiences in the church that have helped me to grow as an individual. I have had the opportunity to share the gospel with others on my mission, I have been blessed to teach early morning Seminary to the youth of our wards and have been involved with leadership responsibilities that have helped me to grow and learn. I love to visit the families that I have been assigned to Home Teach and those friendships and relationship extend way beyond the time visiting those families. I have built wonderful friendships through the church wherever we have lived and those relations remain strong over the miles and years.
