Hi I'm Parker

I'm a Mormon, and I want to talk to you about Jesus.

About Me

My name is Parker Bengtzen. (it's pronounced Benson) And I love America.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the happiness it brings into my life. I can't begin to express how much the church and the gospel has done for me in my life. Every part of the church is true. I continue to strive to learn more about the Gospel because the spirit is so strong when I strive to learn more about it. I have had many struggles in my life and the people of the church and the lord bring so much comfort and joy. I know that through the priesthood of God, I can be sealed to my future wife and children. That death is not the end. I will be with my family for eternity. That is why I am a mormon. The doctrine is pure. The doctrine is why I am a member. No man can make any church nor doctrine to compare. I know this to be the only true and living church on the earth, and that is the church of Christ.

How I live my faith

How don't I live my faith is probably the better question...I live my faith through all of my daily activities. It first starts by how I act and present myself. The Gospel of Jesus Christ makes me the happiest I can be. My calling in the church right now is that I am a missionary for the church. I am serving in the California Long Beach Mission. This has been my decision since I have been young. I love and respect the missionaries. I have been preparing to serve my whole life. The savior was the perfect example of someone who served others. I live my faith by being in the world, but not of the world. My standards are higher than that of the common person. I love and serve God with my whole heart and mind. Being a believer in God isn't just a one time decision. It is a decision you have to make every morning when you wake up and choose to follow the Lord. I can't live without the Gospel in my life. It defines me. It's what I strive to base my thoughts and impressions on. The Lord loves us all and will continue to bring guidance into our lives each day. And that is my motivation to live and follow God's commandments.

How do I become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon Church)?

I have been asked this question many a times. And my answer remains the same. As my good friend Kevin would say, "Ya gotta be baptized!" Spoken like a true convert. Show more Show less
